Pomodoro |

to Hunk-O-Mania)
(212) 239-7019
The home-made quality of Pomodoro's specialty dishes are
the talk of the town. As you feast your eyes on the menu
selections, the very friendly staff gets you started
with delectable homemade foccacia and a basket of bread.
The beautifully scripted menu will entice you to try the
Antipasti, favorites like Calamare Fritti, fresh
Mozzarella with tomato, basil and olive oil, or the
house specialty, Pappa al Pomodoro, a Tuscan stale of
herbed tomato soup, which is served in a scooped-out
loaf of round bread. "fun" factor is high on the menu of experimental.
Amazing place for bachelorette parties!

Everyone knows that adage about judging a book by its
cover, but the same could be said about judging a sandwich
joint by its dining room. Though this restaurant's
decor--white-washed brick, Edison bulbs and aluminum
chairs--reads like a retreated Lower East Side plot, don't
be fooled into thinking that the menu has nothing new to
offer.... It's a perfect dinner
location prior to going clubbing.

This Pan Asian restaurant's opening was a huge hit in NYC. A
giant Buddha protects the dining room where they serve specialties
such as Peking Duck for Two and Kobe beef. Don't miss the bright
red bathroom entryway. The wishing well and the floating stairway
upstairs. Super trendy NYC hotspot for sure. Atmosphere all
the way.

The
Parlour Midtown Restaurant/Lounge |
247 West
30th Street (212) 967-1070
An upscale gastro steakhouse, located
near Madison Square Garden. The place looks like a bar/lounge
hangout at first glance, but the restaurant is in the back. The
atmosphere is also upbeat with a very amusing DJ. The food is
well done and plentiful. The meats are prime quality and deserts
are excellent. It appears that a lot of care is given to
maintain the quality of the food. Great for groups, service is
excellent.

The SoHo gallery crowd frequents this sceney spot. The "bellini"
made with champagne and peach juice is a favorite drink. Great
for a get-together with the girls.

A mondo-trendy, beautifully designed Japanese spot. Almost any night
of the week, the bar is full of young, well-dressed professionals
on the prowl. The restaurant itself has many light and tasty
gems sure to please the palette. The drinks are served strong
and the ambiance is really cool as well. A must to try on a
Fri. after work.
